Technical problems in printing bit color string color:

1.      Contract different. This type of problem is usually found in dry-type ink printing, the rapid evaporation of the solvent after high-speed printing may form an opaque white film. This phenomenon is sometimes temporary, but most times it is persistent. This is caused by the presence of cooling agents or air conditioning cooling it down to dew point, causing the steam to condense back into the graphics sub-ink film. The ink, when in an aqueous solvent or a pigment ink film can also cause poor gloss graphic prints. In other words, the more volatile the solvent, the higher the tendency of the formation of contract different. Preventive measure include: adjusting the printing ink solvent used, increase the right amount of solvents with higher boiling points (such as cyclohexanone, glycols, glycol ethers, alcohol, etc.), reducing the amount of volatile solvents, and controlling the workshop’s environment at 65% relative humidity or less in the packaging and printing process, especially during rainy seasons in coastal areas and northern areas.

2.      Bit color (string color). In the printing process, during the first or second time the color gets printed on it, sometimes the black printing films will become too soft and cause wrinkling, this phenomenon is known as the precursor to bit color. During the overlay process, when the ink contains a strong solvent, it may actually go completely through the layer from the ink film, causing the color to mix into the membrane of the subsequent package ink film causing a dye or a mix of colors. The main reason for this is the soluble components in the printing ink (contains resin or solvent). This type of ink must be diluted with a solvent, it is unwise to use a strong solvent ink, adjust the viscosity, or accelerate the printing process to shorten the time between the second and third overlay. Before the printing process, it is important to use an appropriate soluble complex dissolved in the solvent ink, use the results to determine the ratio of the amount of solvent dilution.

I will offer some tips. A lot of the problems are mainly concentrated in 1. ink migration; 2. the yellowing of the ink film; 3. white spots in the product; 4. back sticking and adhesion; 5. discoloration and fading; 6. the ink film turning white; 7. pinholes and craters ; 8. the transfer material is unable to take on the ink; 9. bit color and color fading; 10. contract different. These problems in printing are usually the cause of production failures.
